The Ducati XDiavel V4 is Ducati’s attempt to demonstrate that a power cruiser can also be sporty, technologically advanced, and stylish. It is not just another cruiser. From its V4 engine to radar-based features, the Ducati XDiavel V4 is ready to rule the highways in 2025.
The Ducati XDiavel V4 is expected to launch in India in September 2025, with an estimated price range of ₹17,00,000 to ₹18,00,000. The Ducati Diavel V4, the Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic, and the Harley-Davidson Street Glide are motorcycles that are currently available and are comparable to the XDiavel V4. The sports cruiser that Ducati makes is the XDiavel V4 from Bologna. We expect Ducati India to launch the new XDiavel V4 in the country later this year. It is expected to be priced between Rs. 27-28 lakh, ex-showroom.
The 1,158cc, liquid-cooled V4 engine that powers the Ducati XDiavel V4 produces 168 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 126 nm at 7,500 rpm. It has a bi-directional quickshifter and a six-speed transmission. The cylinder deactivation technology in this engine shuts down the two rear cylinders at low RPMs. The XDiavel’s design is unmistakably Ducati, and it appears to be an improvement on the XDiavel 1260. Bits such as the muscular fuel tank, large air intakes below it, brushed-aluminium shrouds, and the sizeable belly pan add visual mass to the design. However, the large V4 engine and 240-section rear wheel draw attention. A monocoque chassis with an adjustable monoshock and 50mm USD forks up front is hidden beneath the muscular bodywork. The bike has 17-inch alloy wheels that are covered in 120/70 ZR17 front tires and 240/45 ZR17 rear tires. Meanwhile, braking duties are taken care of by 330mm, twin front discs and a 265mm disc at the rear.
The XDiavel V4 has all-LED lighting, a 6.9-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay, and other features. It has traction control, ABS, radar-based cruise control, three power modes, and four ride modes (Sport, Urban, Touring, and Wet) in its extensive electronics suite. The Ducati XDiavel V4 is available in two colours – Burning Red and Lava Black. In terms of competition, the Triumph Rocket 3 competes with the XDiavel.
